In Autumn 2011, the Pump House will be completed with 2 self contained apartments, perfect for a short term break. The apartments will be comfortable and modern and a perfect base to discover Durham City and this beautiful part of England.

Durham City is an ideal location to visit fabulous market towns such as Richmond and Barnard Castle with the nearby High Force, Britain's highest water fall. This part of England has everything from Metropolitan cities like Newcastle, stunning coastlines and endless countryside to historic castles and a wealth of sporting activities and we must not forget the impressive Durham Cathedral and 11th Century Castle right on our doorstep.
